Prayer can be intimidating. People are put off when they get "stuck," not knowing what to pray. Our minds wander to the argument we had with a friend, to the weather, or to the grocery list. The Bible says to pray about all things (Phil. 4:6), but sometimes we need an instrument to help us keep track and focus.
Prayer beads are a specialized means for guiding prayer in a specific direction. They are common in many religions and they take several forms. The most widely known form is the Catholic Rosary.
Rather than a necklace formation, Elohim Prayer Beads are simply an individual strand, and they come with specific prayers to recite as we touch each bead. This is not rote prayer or meaningless recitation. Prayer beads allow us to mindfully engage in Scriptural prayer and move from our starting point or emotion to a God-centered conclusion.

We sample hundreds of beads, touching them, studying shape and color, praying through their intended use, before we choose a particular bead to build a strand. We study the Bible closely and pray before writing out the prayers which we believe the Holy Spirit leads for each topic.
